The Crus Scholar program is designed to help students enhance their future career
opportunities by gaining experience in developing a research project with guidance
from a faculty mentor from within Metallurgical Engineering in the Department of Materials
Science and Engineering. Research conducted in the Crus Center focuses on the development
of nanostructured materials for applications related to human health and the environment.
The Crus Center’s outreach programs have been developed to educate students and the community about renewable energy technologies and advanced materials. You are invited to learn with us by scheduling a tour of the center or an educational activity, at the center or off campus.
